Vendor Review: Ben Byers Photography
I had the opportunity to work with Ben Byers during Tasha & Steve's wedding in August. I really enjoyed how personable he was, his work ethic and professionalism.
During Tasha & Steve's wedding, Ben had what could have been viewed as a few challenges. Our bride and groom had a family friend who wanted to take formal pictures prior to the ceremony. I appreciated how Ben worked alongside this family friend and even incorporated him during the processional, when after some urging from their wedding officiant, the groom decided to make his entrance down a zipline!! (Look under "Couples I've Served" and the tab marked "Tasha & Steve" for the inside scoop.) Ben also had many other highlights of the ceremony which he didn't miss such as when Steve's best man handed me the wedding rings, attached to a Matchbox yellow dump truck! (A picture of it is featured below.) Ben captured the moments through the lens of his camera, expressions and all.
Ben's take charge attitude was all in good taste. He was very diplomatic yet worked alongside the other wedding professionals who made up their ceremony. He also was very flexible. He was very cordial to requests made about taking certain photos with certain family members and friends. He even offered to take a picture of me with Tasha & Steve after the license signing on my camera. What a gentleman!
After the wedding, I had gone to Ben's website to check out his work and his website. It reiterated what I watched during the hour before and the time after the ceremony. It's definately worth taking a look at his website as you search for the photographer to tell the story of your wedding day in picture format. Want to see for yourself? Please go to
