Damon & Tyffani
I loved working with Damon and Tyffani! This couple came to me as a result of a referral from Tyffani's cousin, Danielle, who I had served last year. It's always a special thing for me to hear from a family member or friend because I had a former couple pass my name along! Damon and Tyffani married August 28th during an outside wedding.
Damon and Tyffani met with me one evening at a local coffee spot in Marysville. I had established a repoire with Tyffani through previous emails we had exchanged back and forth. I instantly felt a connection to them. I liked how they both were involved in the planning of their wedding and that it was important to them that ideas they had were incorporated into their ceremony. Afterall, isn't it the wedding day for both the bride and groom?
I liked how engaged they were during our consultation. Both Damon and Tyffani asked questions, included their thoughts and ideas and were open to listening to ideas that I had to offer. Their spunk and apparent love for each other glowed in their eyes. It's working with couples like this that remind me how much I love my job.
Their wedding took place at Kayak Point, along the shore. During the ceremony, we had some unexpected guests.....locals who were there fishing! We had fishermen in boats, in hip waders, and along the shore. Lucky for us, they all were very respectable and weren't distracting. After the ceremony, one of Tyffani's uncles pointed out the fish. It was amazing to watch the salmon literally jumping out of the water just to dive back in. Even yards away, we could see them. I can only imagine how big those fish were up close.
Damon and Tyffani were surrounded with family and friends, who helped with their celebration. Many people were hands on in helping get the food out and attended to many of the other details. They even had a friend who was cooking up oysters on the half shell! The food was great, the socializing was terrific and it was wonderful to be able to share with Damon, Tyffani and their family and friends in the festivities afterwards.
Congratulations, again, Damon and Tyffani! May your lives be always filled with the love and excitement you felt on wedding day.
