Dean & Ming
Dean's sister, Susie, contacted me as a result of an ad I have regularly listed on Craigslist.com. Her brother and future sister-in-law, Ming, live in California and were planning on marrying at Tazer Valley Farm in Stanwood on August 1st. Susie was working alongside Dean and Ming, assisting in the details of their wedding.
Working with an out-of-town couple is simplified with the use of the telephone and the internet. Dean and I shared many phone calls back and forth, working out ceremony details. I even coordinated with him to pick up their marriage paperwork from the county. (They were not scheduled to come into town three days before their ceremony. WA state law requires that a three day wait period be met before using the license.)
It's always wonderful to be able to put a name with a face. Meeting Dean and Ming in person was great! They were very cordial and grateful for all of the work I had put into writing their ceremony, coordinating with the dj and photographers (both who were new to the wedding industry) and all of the guidance I provided.
Congratulations, again, Dean & Ming!
