Vendor Review: Hope Haven Photography
Denise Lee, owner of Hope Haven Photography (www.hope-haven.net) , has always been a joy to work with!
Denise and I first worked together two years ago, for a couple who married at the Edmonds Senior Center in Edmonds, WA. Right away, I knew I would like to work with Denise. She has a wonderful, warm personality and is funny, too! She has a brilliant way of helping her couples relax but at the same time, capturing the photos that make up the events of wedding day. Denise offers suggestions and really listens to her couple's wants and sees to it to do what is asked of her, of course, within reason.
Tony & Ashley's wedding (the couple who married at the Edmonds Senior Center) was short and sweet. Tony and Ashley were looking for a ceremony that delivered just that -- the ceremony itself was no longer than two minutes in length! Some might have seen that as a challenge, but not for Denise. Denise snapped away and captured the moments, regardless how brief, of that ceremony. The ceremony happened so quickly that Ashley had forgotten to walk down the isle with her bouquet of flowers. Denise offered to have her assistant, Alex, grab the flowers so that she could have photos of her beautiful bouquet.
Denise also accommodated this couple with a request that they had made to her; they wanted an arial shot of all of their guests with the beautiful Puget Sound water in the background. (A little background history on Denise....she doesn't do heights!) That saying, "Never let them see you sweat" is Denise in a nutshell. Since then, I have had the chance to work with Denise and her husband, Steven, on other weddings. Another thing that I appreciate about Denise is how prepared she comes when she is on site for an event. Denise comes completely equipped with an assistant, medical kit, "bridal emergency kit", water bottles and even fans for the summer months! Her quality of service is extremely high. She loves her work, loves people and it shows. Denise is dedicated to give her clients her best without reservation.
